IUM Is a Fully Namibia Qualification Authority Accredited University. IUM Is Fully Registered by the NCHE National Council for Higher Education.

IUM Application & Registration Process

Application Forms are Available Now At All IUM Campuses as well as on the website of IUM ( www.ium.edu.na )

Normal Application Period Starts in the Month of July & Ends in the Month of October Yearly.

Late Application Period Starts From November 1-30 November.

Students Must Register Each Year in January / February ( All Students Non-Degree, Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Research )

Postgraduate Research Candidates Shall be Supervised Only if they are registered.

Nature Age Entry Registration

Must Have a Passed Grade Ten Certificate

Three Years Relevant Working Experience

Must be Twenty Five Years Old Over in the Year in Which Admission is Sought

Admission Requirements

Students Shall be Selected & Admitted On Merit Without Regard to Religion Or Cultural Identity & Regardless of Ethnic Origin. colour, race, political opinion or gender

Subject to Faculty, School Departmental & Centre Special Requirements For All Qualifications, Mature Age Entry to Undergraduate Certificate, Degree and Diploma Courses Shall be On the Grounds that Candidates

Are Twenty Five Years Old Or Over in the Year in Which Admission is Sought

Have At Least a pass at 10th grade

Have At Least 03 Years Experience

Provide a Suitable Reference Relating to Work Experience

Subject Specialization

Candidates Must Have Obtained a Minimum of a D Symbol in the Subjects / Related Subjects they Intend to Specialise in Except English, Mathematics and / Or Any Namibian Language, the Students Must Obtain a Minimum of a C Symbol to Specialise in these Subjects.

Examinations

There Shall be Formal / Final Examination {FE} At the End of Each Semester in June & November Each Year

Examinations for the Six Month Programmes in the Centre For the Improvement of Institutional Performance (CIIP) Shall be Held in June & November Each Year.

Examinations for the 12-Month Programmes in the Centre For the Improvement of Institutional Performance Shall be Held in Nov Each Year.
