Here in this Post We are Discussing the Upcoming Event Which is Marathon. The University of Botswana Marathon is an Annual Event Held In Greater Gaborone Each September.
The 2025 Edition is Scheduled and Will be Conduct On 7th September At the UB Stadium.
This Event Features
- A 42.2 KM Marathon
- A 21.1 KM Half Marathon
- A 10 KM Race
- A 5 KM Fun Run for the Whole Family
Rules and Key Information
Participants Kindly check the below key information before participate
- Headphones are not allowed when running
- Do Not Leave Valuable Items in your car, so check you car when you left
- Must Respect Each Other
- Foul Language is Not Allowed So Remember
- Do Not Bend, fold or cut your bib
- Animals Not Allowed
- Bicycles, Roller Blades, Roller Skates Not Allowed
- Runners Should Follow Route Marking
- Walkers / Slow Runners Will Line Up Behind Elite Runners

UB Marathon 2025 University of Botswana
- Parking for Participant Will be Available Within the UB Premises
- Parking Adjacent to UB Stadium & Amphitheater will not be closed during the event.
- At 0430hrs the UB Circle to UB Stadium Road Will be Closed.
- From 0430hrs, the Stadium Will Only be Accessed through Nanogang Gate & Or Other Alternative Gates Around Campus
